The Subject is experiencing financial issues, that are affect their feelings of security such as their home or job. This is likely to be causing anxiety and tension and will be affecting their mind-set, and attitude to life, on a day to day basis. The really difficult aspect of this card is the resultant effect on the Subject. They have lost confidence in their ability to achieve, or to change, their fortunes.

As with most of the Sevens, this card represents options and choices. Here the Subject has reached a significant goal, but a situation has come about that could threaten their security or financial standing. The Subject has worked hard to get to this point and stands to lose a considerable amount if they make the wrong decision. Likewise, they stand to gain an awful lot if the risk pays off.

Notes from the Artist

Whilst the vine holds seven Pentacles and the vine appears healthy there is a slight feel of drooping with it. Some tiny Pentacle buds have fallen from the vine which suggests a problem of some sort has arisen. The vine represents the current position of the nurturer, and what could be lost if the wrong decision is made.
