You are experiencing financial difficulty, and loss, that affects your stability. Unfortunately, you have your sense of self-value tied up in the material things you don’t have, or have lost, resulting in a lack of faith in yourself.

The Subject is experiencing financial difficulties, or issues, that affect their feelings of security such as their home or job. This is likely to be causing anxiety and tension and will be affecting their mind-set and attitude to life on a day to day basis. The really difficult aspect of this card is the resultant effect on the Subject. They have lost confidence in their ability to achieve or to change their fortunes.

If the Subject has not looked after their finances properly, and this has caused the current difficulties, they need to learn from that and avoid making the same mistakes in the future. If it has not been their fault, the events leading up to this situation have been unfortunate, but the Subject needs to focus on how they are going to resolve their current circumstance. Their ability to do so will be hindered by their lack of confidence and a chicken and egg situation could ensue. The Reader should work with the Subject to give them the energy and confidence to face up to, and improve, their current predicament.

Perhaps the nurturer has neglected the plant, or perhaps the vine has developed something that needs treatment. The nurturer might feel inadequate at this point as to how to help the vine recover.
